Good questions, I’ll ask him. He’s Canadian, so doubt he will have a passport stamp, but somewhere in the Canadian Border Agency system there will be a record of him entering the country at a time that would correspond to the landing of the aircraft. We also have text messages from him as additional backup.
I wonder if the stamped customs form would help. It should have date, flight, etc, etc
