generally only when there is a Chase or United offer that adds in a meaningful way to the earnings (spend bonus from UA or mybonus category bonuses from Chase). Haven’t put a dime on it since the retention offer. If I didn’t have the two Club certs that would vanish right away, I would probably have already closed the card since there haven’t been any bonus offers for me that were worth using it.
