Right. There hasn't been an AA Exp line per se for some time; whatever number you call, if the system recognizes as EXP you get routed to the EXP Desk. Whether they do the same for other OWEs, who knows.
As a BA Silver I called AA in a recent IRROPS and was immediately connected to an agent. Didi status matter? Who knows. But getting one of the last few seats on the soon-to-depart flight I wanted saved an overnight stay and was very welcome.
