Even if the strike is few days getting the operation back up and running will be a massive logistical problem taking days and weeks to return to normal ops.
Im sure both sides will consider this aspect in the upcoming weeks, hopefully this scenario doesn't happen.
This is ridiculously doubtful as within 24 hours of the strike deadline (if not earlier) Air Canada would begin strategically cancelling flights to get planes where they want them in the event of a strike. I recall the same was true with Westjet earlier this year.

The second bit about it taking weeks to ramp everything back up is true though.
