Wasn’t expecting such a quick reply from NZ Twitter: “Kia ora, when traveling on a flight marketed by Air Canada (AC) and operated by United Airlines (UA), please note that the flight will be credited to your Airpoints account based on the marketing carrier's flight number, which in this case is AC. Consequently, Status Points will be allocated according to the Air Canada rate rather than the United Airlines rate.”
