Here are my impressions after my first night in Argentina spent at Park Tower - overall, a very nice experience:
Pros:
- While I was only upgraded to a higher floor “Grand Deluxe” (didn’t check if suites were available), I was able to check in at 9 AM after an overnight flight (lovely)
- Bed was very comfortable - plush covers, plush pillows, medium plush mattress
- Couch was very comfortable
- Loved all of the art throughout the room
- Shower pressure was good and strong and stayed consistent temperature
- Very nice city views
- Staff was lovely - especially Claudio who brought me to my room and Eva who came at night to bring more waters, some chocolates, and told local stories about the different views on the river side and city side (ask about the legend surrounding the tall residential tower nearby)
- Welcome gift was some wine and honey, and they brought some chocolates and nuts at turndown
- Breakfast at St Regis Restaurant on floor 2 was quite good - made-to-order eggs (really enjoyed my omelet) and I loved the dulce de leche croissant on the buffet
- Offered late checkout proactively - no issue with 4 PM
- Lobby Bar has wine or beer and a small canapé buffet for Elites from 6 to 8 PM
Neutral:
- AC initially did not work (I thought it might be an environmental setting - set at 19 but never cooled past 24) - however, a very friendly engineer came and did some work in the ceiling, and then the AC worked perfectly
- They tried to charge for breakfast at check-out but quickly reversed after I reminded them I picked breakfast as a welcome gift
Cons:
I would definitely come back.
