in case I missed something...family member aged 17 currently on BA84 to LHR supposed to connect TLV after overnight, on Tuesday 640 am flight. Call center advises earliest EL AL connection is September 9. Son is returning to school. I have to make a decision regarding tonight's flight soon as he is checked in and needs to be offloaded. I can choose the Sept 8 YVR departure but if BA then continues flying as of Thursday, son has missed a bunch of school for no reason...I understand having to pick the Sept 8 date is my free change and then further c hanges are on me I assume. Thoughts?
