I flew on United from SFO to LHR on Polaris and even though I entered in my Asiana mileage program number when purchasing the tickets, for some reason I never got credited. I entered in all my details into Asiana missing miles website and after clicking submit, it was an instant approval/credit. Wow. How did that happen? Seriously impressive. Many years ago I had to fax in my boarding passes and it took a few weeks.
