What I am curious is how the baggage allowance is on the piece and not the weight system. Is it HEL or NBO that triggers the piece concept on this specific routing.
Flights to/from Africa or Americas follow the piece system rather than the weight system.
It's unfortunate that I can't rely on QR customer service quoting the rules accurately. This leaves me at the mercy of the check-in agent at the airport, at which point I've already made a decision on how many bags to fly with. That's a $255 gamble.
