Sat 24th
BA 792 GOT - TECY - return to stand with an engine start valve issue.
Sunday 25th
BA594 FAO - OPEY - canx due to horrendous slot on the aircraft inbound to LHR to operate 594.
BA534 NAP - DAMN - take this to CEDR if you are claiming. G-TTNU has suffered a birdstrike in LIN. BA having insufficient aircraft to cover an AOG airframe away from base for a flight originating out of its home base (BA534) is in the direct control of an airline and ‘all reasonable measures’ therefore is extant here. As for the bird strike being extraordinary -‘
Pešková vs Travel Service A.S’ is relevant IIRC and thus not extraordinary. BA will refuse all claims and thus CEDR or MCOL will be required.
