Obviously as an EXP I never paid the charge however, I’ve booked two tickets for my daughter recently through my account and did not have to pay for a standard seat the first time. It may have been that I used miles for the first trip and was able to select seats w/out a charge. This most recent ticket was the first time I’ve experienced the charge. Guess I’ll rack it up to a “first world problem.
