Accurate. I was awake at 6am in Tel Aviv and aware the airport was closed. It reopened around 7am local, 5am in London - BA departed well afterwards (by the time that many here saw it cooling down, at least for the day).

I won’t second guess BAs decision to not arrive today - it’s reasonable - but it does strike me that call could have been made prior to departure.
