When used as a form of payment, policy would apply…it’s a new PNR. Getting said funds returned though, is going to be a PITA, and take some time as it requires manual processing. Some have also reported incorrect amounts going back to an FFC vs. card paid to the balance.

typically easier (IME) to just wait until after 24 hours and get a new FFC for the entire amount, which one typically get immediately.
