Thanks for the feedback, everyone. It sounds like a car service is a necessity from the hotel entrance to nicer neighborhoods. I carry two cell phones at all times so would be double the target. What a shame as I had a lovely time walking around Bogota last month and Santiago was just to die for. I likely won't make it to Argentina any time soon as flight prices are crazy and I have other places on my wish list at a higher priority (more Europe, Taiwan, India, Mainland China, Indonesia). However, I have always thought the Park Tower looked interesting.
