Yes you can always call to book. I think that more complex routes just don't feed into the BA site, it's all a bit hit and miss. You could try the multi city tool on BA.com, I don't know how well this would work as I have no experience of Australia bookings. Could you book this more easily direct with Qantas or Qatar, I'm guessing it involves one or both of them.
