WOW - just trying to do some prep before my BIG EPIC trip.
Have not posted a TR before - had great intentions of doing it but ....... busy lives etc .....
Now that I am retired .... and Husband and I are about to go on an epic trip of 65 countries in 23 months, I thought it was time to do a TR.
I have enjoyed so many over the years, that it is high time I shared.
So leaving Australia in 24 sleeps time, we head to Turkey, SQ J then a cruise from Instanbul to Barcelona, in mid October, we then drive thru Europe till just after Christmas - New Years in Ireland with family, in Jan we do a world cruise out of Southhampton UK , for 107 nights with a back to back Scandinavian cruise. EgyptAir to Cairo for a tour and nile cruise, Jordan and Israel, Italy an Adriatic cruise, Italy, Scotland Wales, a LGBT River cruise the culminates in Pride Amsterdam.
SQ J FRA - JFK - Jet Blue to New Orleans - driving to Florida Keys up the east coast as far as Boston, then across to LA and up to Seattle.
An Alaskan Cruise, then driving across Canada west to east .
Cuba
A couple of months in Puerto Vallarta Mexico December 25 and January 26, then South America including Easter Island , before an Antartica cruise takes us to Argentina and Brazil.
South Africa comes next then Vic Falls, Tanzania before we head to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman and hopefully some Indian Ocean Islands on the way back to Australia.
Now that I have you green with envy, what's the best advice to loading pictures into a trip Report
I will be traveling with an iPhone and a iPad - possibly an Ibook - but that depends on space in the carryon bag.
this thread has lots of great advice but it was started almost 15 years ago and tech has changed so much since then.
Photos will all be on an iPhone 15x, so what's the easiest way to do it.
I imagine there will be lots of pics of interesting travel experiences, as we are doing planes, trains, boats, small and large, from a converted Turkish fishing boat with 6 double cabins to the Queen Anne, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth, the Flam a Hurtigruten expedition boat, and a small Nile cruiser.
Food drinks, markets, travel pcis .
Thanks in advance to helping out a 1960s's baby who has a good grasp of simple tech.
