Need some advice on MH transit and Go show..

We currently have MH economy flex tickets which specifically allows boarding earlier flight if there are available seats (Go Show)

Our itinerary is PEN - KUL - LHR, with only 1 hour 10 minutes in between for transit in KUL

Normally this is just about enough, but looking at the performance of domestic MH flights recently, there are many delays sometimes by hours

Does anybody know how Go-Show works with MH ? Do we just do online check-in as normal, but turn up at PEN airport earlier and ask at the check in counter if we can take the earlier flight ?

If we do Go-Show the earlier PEN-KUL transit flight, does it affect our KUL-LHR flight since we will not be taking the originally ticketed and checked in flight.
