IMHO you get nothing much at an Ibis or Styles, maybe for a premium member a view of the car park or the bins and a fight over who has the "small beer|" welcome drink. 25cc was the norm in Spain ( think they have special glasses made for it ) ?

( Thats mostly Europe and Esp France ) - However we have had reasonable gifts and good service in Aisa

The other question is how badly do you "value" the nights or status points ? are they "worth" 20£ ?

If it was me making the choice .... save the 20£ in Europe but possibly spend it in Aisa ( having looked at what the hotel room types are - so you can hazzard a guess at a possible upgrade ) - but for one night prob save the £20
