Perfectly cooked venison is IMHO one of the most delicious meats available - and I too have eaten a lot of different wild and farmed meats in my travels.

My only issue is that I highly doubt you're going to get a perfectly cooked rare to medium rare piece of venison on a plane, and that's how it needs to be cooked to be enjoyed.
