Globalist here reporting that the Hyatt Regency SOMA has fantastic service. Booked a room here via Privé due to a family medical emergency and when our aunt's condition worsened, we ended up needing to extend our reservation for a whole 'nother week. The front desk was so kind and understanding. They moved my week long booking into a suite. Breakfast here is great and when I needed to book 2 more rooms for family, they extended my Globalist benefits to all 3 rooms without requiring a Guest of Honor award. All 3 rooms got lounge access and breakfast vouchers. Parking is super steep but with the Privé rate, I got $100 credit per booking which helped defray a couple days of cost. Only a couple gripes here...the lounge only had beer and canned wine available for $8 per can which felt expensive to us and the bar stopped serving before their closing time of 11pm even though it was still full of seated people. Other than that, we really appreciated the aesthetic and vibe of the lounge as well as the 24/7 amenities of the aforementioned snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. It was a great place to work from with outlets at every seat. Oh yeah, the gym is awesome too. It literally had everything you would need including squat rack, plyo box, TRX, Bosu ball, every kettlebell and dumbbell, leg press, cable machines, and all the cardio machines.
