So please report your experience with Upgrade bids here on any SAA routes. Even if you didn't go for it please report what the range was offered.
In my (admittedly dated) experience, it varied by destination. Used to get bids accepted for USD100 to NBO and DAR. Sometimes a bit more. LHR bids were more likely to be accepted on the second daily (first daily was often full), but the minimum bids were high. HKG bids were competitive. I think I once got one for USD300. But it was just me and one other passenger in J that day.
