Haven't been through T2-T2 in a while, but did a few times last year. Didn't have a problem at security, but I'm used to the LHR routine (they usually have plastic bags on offer before reaching security, or at least they used to at T5). I usually take a bunch so I can do some pre-packing of liquids in there, and have spares for future trips.

The more annoying part to me is the BP/itinerary check after security. In my experience it took much, much longer since some people don't always have their BPs and are fumbling around trying to pull up an itinerary on their phones or a printed one from their bag.
