I always got the impression that if you just book and fly then OTA's are ok, but if anything changes it can be difficult to get things sorted.
I too booked one of those crazy LHR-HEL business fares (via worldairfares) the saving was worth the risk and with multiple departures per day, I was happy to take a chance. using an OTA.
For a small saving, I would NOT use an OTA but I would use BA's best price guarantee which works out more advantageous in the long run for future bookings.
