Stop 10. American Airlines Business Class Lounge

The business class lounge is at the end of this antiseptic walkway.

Towards the end this is this inexplicable alcove with a handful of seats. It is almost like they had a bit of space left and no idea what to do with it.

The tunnel opens up into one large space dominated by the central area that serves no real function, just has more canteen seating.

Tucked away in the far left corner of the space is the ‘office’ and the quiet area.

As the quiet area is separated from the main lounge by
nothing but air, it is not particularly quiet.

The buffet forms one arc of the central feature.

It’s a fairly reasonable spread and the mains are a little more interesting than most. The bar is pretty basic compared to the other lounges.

The view from the lounge is nicely on brand, being across the AA departure gates.

Not a comfortable space, not one that makes you want to linger… maybe that is the idea?

I decided to try a bit of the chicken which was pretty bland for something passing itself off for Jamaican Jerk.
