Push back was at exactly 06:00 and after quite a long, slow, taxi for Newcastle, we were in the air by 06:13. This is the first time in a very long while that my Newcastle departure has been even close to being on schedule.

Whilst we were taxiing the In Flight Manager came by to say hello to Mr 11C and myself and it was a nicely done and natural feeling greeting.

As already mentioned, no Buy on Board this morning but I was offered the standard BA water and a snack, passed on both, but impressed to see that one of the choices was gluten free.



A little bit later and a coffee and biscuits magically appeared to help boost the caffeine and sugar levels



Pleasant and chatty crew this morning and a short and uneventful flight delivering us all to Heathrow Terminal 5 nicely on time.
