Got these a few weeks ago, was actually 2-for-2 on my flights. Both times I asked the flight crew during deplaning, and both times I asked the purser prior if I could ask the pilots.
The Max pilot had both versions which was great. A320 pilot kinda apologized, he wasn't sure if the 320s were getting newer cards or just the 321neo.
Next time on a widebody I do need decide when to ask for 'em...
