Arriving at the airport in the dead of night and it was surprisingly busy with a steady stream of people heading into the terminal.



The BA desk is still surprisingly busy, either they opened late or there are troubles afoot



Nothing to trouble myself as I’m hand baggage only, as usual.

Quckly through security despite the now obligatory and inevitable iPad swab, and to my first stop, Aster and Thyme to take advantage of the £18 spend provided by Priority Pass.

Still feeling decaffeinated, I opted for an Americano and a small Castelnau which meant I exceeded the allowance by a pocket busting 14p



As with everywhere in the airport, fantastic friendly chirpy staff behind the bar.
