I just booked a flight from HNL to BCN via LAX and AMS. The Delta portion to LAX gives my wife and myself C+, the 2nd leg on KLM only gives me C+ but charges my wife for her seat. Am I doing something wrong? Delta representative said that's how KLM works, they'll let me upgrade to C+ but you'll have to pay for your wife, only Delta gives this benefit to Platinum medallions. Is that right? Please help?
