Hard to answer such a broad question. Which places are you prepared to travel to? Are you banned from crossing state lines?

Vicksburg and Natchez, both literally within sight of Louisiana, are well worth visits, but take you to the north of the state.

Avery Island, and the Tabasco thing, is fun, if that is to your taste.....

WW2 Museum in New Orleans is not to be missed.
