I need to book a Transcon to JFK soon, for Sept. Think I will wait til 9/1 to see the new menus then decide between LA or SF. I had not even though to consider SF.
I like that with LA I can get a 767-400. Out of SF is it just 300's or the 2-2 757?.
I love the once a day 767-400 to LAX right now as well. Right now JFK to SFO is all 757s but later this year 763s start showing up on the route.
And if you fly LAX to JFK from October onwards you’ll have access to the new LAX Delta One Lounge.
Delta has done great work in the last few months to ensure printed menus on the transcon flights, rotating appetizers, and varied selections. I’ve been very pleased with all my transcon meals this summer.
