I have a round trip itinerary through BA for DUB-CVG and DEN-DUB. The outbound Dublin to Cincinnati section was already flown in May, and the return from Denver to Dublin is on Oct. 1st. There was a schedule change for the return Denver to Dublin (via ORD) segment and as such, I am entitled to a free change or a refund. I'm seriously considering taking the refund since Aer Lingus now has a convenient direct flight from DEN to DUB for a good fare, but the question I had was how do I tell exactly how much I will get back? The total fare was 1231.96 EUR, so will I just get half that amount back for refunding the return portion? The email confirmation I got from BA breaks costs down by fare, taxes, surcharges, etc; although it doesn't break them down by segment.
