So I have news.

On the security side, my son said the boarding process was a real Poop Show, and no one checked his passport at the gate as he boarded. I can only imagine the number of rules that they broke on that one, and have no idea why they would short cut their process. Crazy.

On the positive side I have already received an email back from a real person at AC on my demand email as the BP photo didn't make it to them. Stay tuned.

EDIT: Got an email acknowledging receipt of the BP, and asking me to be patient while they ‘request further information from Airport LAX’. Oh to be a proverbial fly on the wall in that correspondence!

See my latest post regarding the lack of passport check at the gate. Crazy

and maybe Google time-line...though I'd assume a tech savy individual could get the times and places to show up retroactively...
Unfortunately, no wifi purchased, but it would be a great piece of evidence if he had.

Yeah, upon reflection, I think the Small Claims Court would be the way to go.

Gotta love the lawyers in this group. Great read.

(I, again, want to make it very clear I support the OP, but this is AC we're talking about...)

I unfortunately suspect this will have to go to court, and I'll be absolutely thrilled if it doesn't.
The initial response from them is promising. Continuing to deny he was on the flight just defies all logic even if there is no definitive proof.
