It’s 200k avios of mediocrity onboard a 14 hour BA flight vs 152k avios with qsuites over 3/4 flights - depends what you are looking for and how much avios you have. The difference of 50k is enough for a one way trip redemption LHR-Asia with QR in Y. The JAL flights are about 90k avios each way I believe so will total to c.180k avios return.
The ex-NRT menu for QR J features dishes from two michelin star Chef Norisawa. BA’s casserole slop can never compare, period. So a decision to get your money’s worth vs direct flight etc, down to personal preferences.
