Newbie here, looking for some wisdom from folks that are much more experienced to leveraging points for flights.

I’m fairly new to Virgin points (credit card, not miles). As it stands I currently have around 110,000 points and a companion voucher and I’m looking at booking a trip to either the States or Caribbean in around 1 year.

When looking this morning, a couple of upper class passengers to JFK airport was coming in at around 210,000 points plus cash.

I suppose I’m just trying to gauge whether that seems normal, and whether there are any ways to make the most of points and vouchers?

Any guidance greatly appreciated!
