Not noise cancelling, but I found long term I didn't enjoy that feature. The ability to turn it off on the QC20s was great.
Full disclosure: I don't like over the ear head phones (too heavy, too hot) and don't like wireless. I only use them when I don't want to disturb other people. Call me old school. I know I'll likely be SOL soon for using them with a phone. Another thing I'll have to prostitute myself for again.
One thing I really like about the QC45 (and 35, etc.) is that it does come with a cable. I personally prefer wireless, but I
need the ability to use them with every aircraft's IFE. So if you really want wired, they still work.
But if you never want wireless, you still have to pay for it.
