Anyway, in my case I had read about them on Matthew's blog (
https://liveandletsfly.com/united-ai...trading-cards/) and so I asked the lead FA after the meal service, she called the cockpit, and pilot was happy to share as many as I wanted. I got two, and then when my seatmate saw them, he wanted one, so we got a third. So I would just ask the FA next time you're on the A321neo!

Well so far I've comprehensively struck out (five asks). I've tried a mix of asking flight attendants and doing a visit to the flight deck during boarding (easier on widebodies). Both times with FAs, it seemed to me the flight attendants forgot to check with the pilots, or at least they didn't follow up with me afterward — maybe my timing on those was poor. When I've asked the pilots, they've apparently known what I was talking about, but they didn't have any. A consolation prize when I've asked at the flight deck was a spin in the captain's seat, though, which is always fun. Until recently, I think the last time I got to do that was on my final 747 flight.
(Apologies this is a bit of a digression from the meal discussion.)
