From the screenshots how do we know this isn't just a temporary promotional offer for adding authorized users? That's just how I am reading it as I see no info on the Amex or Hilton sites yet.
If they were planning to make them permanent changes though, I suppose it could motivate cardholders to spend towards the second and third night FNCs that you get at $30k and $60K. For high spenders that are Hilton loyalists, I could see that making the Aspire the all-in-one card to have. Considering a no-fee 2% card would give you $1,200 for $60K spend, or $600 for $30K spend, if you can utilize the credits and make great redemptions on the FNCs, you could come out far ahead of that in value.
