Very informative read! So next time AC auto rebooks you but you think you can still make the flight (being at the gate 20 minutes ahead of time), timestamp your arrival at the gate (via video), try to board the flight, claim IDB if unsuccessful because they've given your "previously confirmed reservation" away... That is unless the wording of the Tariff has changed since 2014.
