I think my favorite quote from that whole thing is "Air Canada had no evidence to explain why its Onboard Café receipt would display the wrong flight number."

Like... seriously?

I've been charged and had receipts printed with the wrong tax because they configured their POS system with the wrong flight.

But that's also a much more "obvious" case than this. No one disputed he flew the YHZ-YYZ flight. No one disputed that he boarded the original YVR-YXY flight.

There was basically no other way for him to get from the first flight to the third flight without taking the second flight. That's not the case in this thread, where there was a week between flights.
