I generally hate Apple software, and I have a Samsung phone, but the AirPods 2nd generation are looking pretty good to me right now and other than the One Button nonsense, I've had reasonably good experiences with Apple hardware. The other alternative seems to be the Galaxy Buds 3, but I'm a bit wary given my previous bad experience with Samsung buds (these don't share the fatal ear canal flaw of the ones I had before, but I also found those to be very annoying in that touching them often ended calls or adjusted volume in unexpected and unpredictable ways, and yes, I did RTFM) and the very shoddy quality of my most recent phone.
Any opinions?
I've always liked Bose earbuds. They're the only ones I've ever found comfortable.
I currently use Bose Sport Earbuds, which I like. But they don't make them any more. Their latest model has noise cancelling, and is therefore more expensive, larger, and heavier than it otherwise would be (but still smaller/lighter than what I'm using). But I've been contemplating upgrading.
