excellent service from BA (And expedia)
I had a MIA-LHR-MIA flight booked for me and the new Mrs. Fb in 2 weeks time. It was a honeymoon/her first trip to the Uk. My stepdaughter is due to have twins in 13 weeks, unfortunately she is having complications, and the little ones may arrive soon, very soon! So, she is driving up to Chicago tomorrow and no idea when she will be back, but not in time to travel with me (I still have to go to see my 87 year old Mum)
I contacted Youfirst explaining the situation, they couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and within a couple of days have agreed to refund all her taxes ($1900) and half the miles (she was on a companion ticket which would have expired before we could travel again, so they discounted my miles by 50%).
couldn't be happier with the service I received so a big up to BA
And also Expedia who refunded a very expensive hotel (over $900) in London despite me having booked a non refundable reservation good to see businesses can still do the decent thing
