I have always found the calendar displayed on award searches to be very useful to look for award availability by month, specially on partner awards. You can filter it by cabin, which is very handy indeed.


For the past few weeks I have had a hard time using it, as it will either error out straight away, or on my second search. The website will display a message saying that their system is having trouble and that I should try again later.

Am I too much of a conspiracy theorist for believing this might be on purpose? If it is a route flown by AA, there is no issue at all - apart from the 200,000 miles they might charge you for a 2 hour flight.

It makes looking for an award a lot more time consuming.
