Best to avoid CX on those routes.
The challenge is - can you? Normally those short haul routes aren’t very convenient on anyone else - that’s how they got us by the balls.
I mean, I haven't flown on it, so I wouldn't know, but it doesn't seem that bad to me just by looking at it. They should increase the legroom by an inch or two but would be sacrificing valuable capacity. In terms of the seats, it is their best hard product in the fleet, having taken the super-comfy and well-padded seats from the A35K. They've got 4K screens (not that important imo but still cool), bluetooth headphone connection, and the little screen next to the main ife screen. The only problem I see is the legroom, and I don't see why this would be worse than the 77P. The 77P has a far inferior seat, worse seat width, worse ife, feels aged, and is also packed to the brim. I'm probably missing something because I haven't flown on the 32Q, but it doesn't look as bad as you're making it out to be. On the other hand, I'd still rather fly any aircraft in CX's fleet apart from the 77P over the 32Q. Please let me know what you think, because I am probably missing something in this comparison.
