Hi everyone,

My flight with China Southern, that I booked with gotogate (I know, I know) (Vientiane>Guangzhou>Frankfurt) has been changed and it now says 1hr40 connection.

Gotogate says that the minimum connection time is 2hrs - CSAir says 1hr - and so gotogate isn't happy with this. They have said that if I keep this flight, they will not be responsible as a travel agency if I miss it etc.

But if the airline has booked me onto this, am I correct in saying that CSAir would still have to somehow get me to Frankfurt, via any airline possible, despite what gotogate are saying? This return flight with the 1hr40 connection does not even show on Google Flights or even on CSAir, but it is what they have booked us on...which implies gotogate is correct?

It is a round trip flight, starting in Frankfurt to Vientiane, and then back.

Gotogate told me to call CSAir to confirm they would rebook me etc but I just wanted to see what you guys said.

Also concerned that there wouldn't be many ways to get me back in the first place if it was missed!

Any thoughts at all?
