The eligible and non eligible rates are clearly listed on the website (posted in the comment above yours) and have pretty much remained constant for cash stays since they were first published
I finally got one confirmed for a points stay. Got the confirmation email, it was attached to the reservation, I was all set for the suite....and when I showed up at the desk, surprise! Downgraded. It "wasn't available."
I suppose it was confirmable in that they confirmed it, but I have no recourse if they take it away. Oops!
