LGW-CUN second meal ("refuel"):
Starter: I went for the pumpkin option. Not bad but the flavours didn't quite work together. I'd probably try the prawns another time.



Main: I chose the cottage pie. Had all the right ingredients and flavours but it was just nothing special, maybe I should have gone for the gnocchi or salmon? I thought the presentation could have been slightly nicer too.


Dessert was the carrot cake as pictured above. Again delicious and perfect, hit the spot.

Overall I'd say I was a little underwhelmed by the food on this flight. The desserts were the best part but the mains weren't brilliant. Starters were decent.

Here's to hoping the catering ex-MIA is better for my return next week! If I am lucky enough to get a working A380, that is...
