LGW-CUN. Menu:




First meal service. I went for the cauliflower & pea soup, perfectly decent although the cauliflower was a little on the crunchy side for my liking.


Main: had the braised beef short rib. Unfortunately this was overcooked and the sauce too strong. Vegetables also again undercooked. The potato was OK but the mash was decent. Overall a somewhat disappointing dish.


Dessert: I went for the apple & cinnamon tart. This was excellent, perfect size & nice sauce. Suppose you can't go far wrong with a sweet treat like that! Also had the fruit but it didn't taste particularly fresh, which was a shame.


Great service (addressed by name) from an attentive set of CC, which is always nice.
