I can't answer the question, but be aware that you will confuse people if you start speaking like that when you get here. The North American habit of dropping parts of street names isn't done here (not least as you often have very similarly named streets - you might have a Testycal Street, Testycal Road, Testycal Drive and Testycal Way all in greater or lesser proximity). And if you ask for the bus to Sheffield, you'll find yourself in the city of that name in the north of England!
