The cards are expensive but the annual fees are easily off-settable if you utilize the benefits. The Companion Certs alone can offset the annual fees if you're able to utilize them. The question is what are you really looking to get out of the cards? Are you putting spend to build MQDs towards DM status (I can see you're PM each year by nature of 2MM status).
Also, have you tried calling AmEx to see if they will give you the sign-up bonus for "upgrading"? This is going back over a decade but route worked for me when I upgraded my DL Plat to the DL Reserve.
