Under 12s eating free is a Marriott thing Asia-wide. Different properties will have their own way of pitching it to make it sound like their hotel or brand is delivering above-and-beyond, but they all do... at least the ones that give free (or welcome amenity choice) breakfast to elites.

I will be booking a family trip to Japan and Korea. With my platinum status, will my kids who will be booked in their own room (using my account for the reservation) get free breakfast?
Thanks!
If the kids are under 12 and this is a brand that gives breakfast for elites, yes. "Up to 2 children per in-house member can enjoy the complimentary breakfast...."
